LGBT MBAs Fly to London for the EurOut Conference

The weekend of November 18, a group of eight MBA students from the 1st and 2nd years, as well as one MSc and one BBA student, flew to London for the annual EurOut Conference. EurOut is Europe’s leading LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) MBA conference hosted by London Business School.

The conference featured a career fair with an impressive showing of 40 companies, networking with over 200 students from 50 top schools from across the world, and an inspiring lineup of speakers. One of the best speakers was the Prime Minister of Luxemburg, Xavier Bettel, who keynoted his story from coming out to becoming a Prime Minister and how to make an impact as LGBT-identified MBAs.

“Being authentic at work and actively advocating for diversity” were the major messages of the conference. The 1st years returned to Barcelona with new friendships, inspirations, and hopes to return to EurOut 2017. Thank you to ESADE who helped sponsor a portion of the costs!
