Name: Ioanna Alvarez
Age: 27
Where I’m from: Mexico
Prior to the MBA… I have worked in different Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies as a Brand Manager. I have lived in Mexico, Boston, New York, Montreal, Madrid and now Barcelona. But by far, Barcelona is my favorite.
In my spare time… I am part of the Net Impact Club and I am starting a project where I get to learn ways I can positively impact people and my surroundings using my Marketing skills. Additionally, I love spending time organizing my upcoming wedding.
Name: Yi-Hsiu Chen
Age: 27
Where I’m from: Taiwan
Prior to the MBA… I worked as assistant to CEO at a leading screen printing machine manufacturer in Taiwan, and credit analyst at JPMorgan Chase Bank Taipei Branch.
In my spare time… I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing and cycling. I also enjoy going to the movies and karaoke. At home I read, draw, paint and balloon twist to kill time.

Where I’m from: Austria
Prior to the MBA… Business and law major, worked in Corporate Finance advisory for almost 3 years before starting my MBA
In my my spare time… I like to do ski and snowboard (what a cliché…), mountain-bike and windsurf.
Name: Suzanne Jenkins
Age: 28 years old
Where I’m from: California and Boston, USA
Prior to the MBA…: I worked in two small nonprofits since receiving my BA in social anthropology at Harvard. The Arts & Business Council connected the business and arts sectors in Boston by training and placing business professionals as nonprofit board members and volunteer consultants as well as providing marketing and governance training to arts nonprofits. ArtCorps trains organizations in Central America to use arts and culture as powerful tools for community development.
In my my spare time…: I like to dance modern dance and salsa, do yoga, cook, and discover Barcelona!
Name: Angelo Karaiannis
Age: 27
Where I’m from: Italian/Greek
Prior to the MBA… After finishing my studies in Economics and Business Management in Rome, I decided to co-found a company which organized and implemented promotional campaigns, and thus put my entrepreneurial drive to test! Now I’m a Class of 2011 Full Time MBA student and am very enthusiastic about getting involved in the program as much as possible.
In my spare time… I enjoy working out and dancing salsa. Number one in the list though, is spending time with my friends and exploring Barcelona. Whenever possible, I also enjoy cruising around this fantastic city on my motorcycle.

Prior to the MBA… I was in Operations for retail companies, launching and managing stores in Gulf region.
In my spare time… I do outdoor sports and enjoy discovering new restaurants.
