Participating in an exciting Solidarity Consulting Project of SUD

My internship experience in Solidarity Consulting Project of SUD was to work at Open Eyes Project, the small startup company in Delhi, for a month, and I especially worked on developing brand strategy and digital marketing strategy as well as creating a new tour category in the company, the wellness tourism. It cannot be simply explained how rich my experience in the project was because the everything I have experienced there was new and eye-opening for me. It was about living in a completely different place with a different culture, working at a small startup and social enterprise, and thinking about which skills and knowledges I could apply to this small business which is managed by only 2 staffs including the founder. South Korea Study Tour

Upon the completion of our first academic year of the ESADE MBA, sixty of us first year students embarked on a weeklong study tour in Seoul, South Korea. Met with incredible warmth and hospitality by our hosts at Yonsei University, Sangnam Institute of Management, one of the premier institutions of higher learning in South Korea, we were treated to five days of cultural, educational, and professional enlightenment.

With Hope Comes Uncertainty

When I got the option to pick a study tour as part of the MBA Program at ESADE Business School, I had the following options: South Korea, Colombia, South Africa and Germany (Berlin). Being passionate about entrepreneurship, Berlin seemed to be the easy answer as the objective of the tour was to network with start-ups and VCs in the Berlin start-up ecosystem. But I thought to myself, in the near future, will I get the opportunity to visit a South American country, along with my international peers, and learn about I continent I have never visited? ESADE wins 3rd place in the Johnson & Johnson Case Competition

Our main motivation for signing up for the Johnson & Johnson case competition was because of the challenge it posed.  Pharma-economics is a challenging, highly complex industry, and we knew it would require an incredible amount of hard work and research. Despite knowing this, we wanted to push our limits and expand our knowledge of this sector.

The harder the challenge, the more rewarding the end result, so we went for it with everything we had.

The project was about creating a market access strategy in EMEA for the launch of a severe respiratory disease treatment drug. Additionally, we were posed with the question to optimally transfer this solution to emerging markets. Read the rest of this entry »
